Instead they have a vacuum operated diaphragm that opens the fuel flow via pulse hose from carburetor when engine is running. The adap ter plate is ha nd made, it not CBC made. The problem is that as they get older, the diaphragms wear out and then petcock doesn't allow fuel to flow or shut off anymore. At least that is the way it supposed to work anyway and most times does.

This is a manual activated petcock which eliminates the vacuum that most model's are equipped with from factory. In the first case, engine can starve for fuel and in second case carb crankcase will often become flooded when sitting causing starting difficulties. They have no off position rather just on-reserve and prime. The combination fits the GT250,GT380,GT500,GT550,GT750.

Each one of my petcocks have been custom fitted in the USA to fit listed motorcycle. Eliminate that junk high priced OEM petcock with this nice aftermarket unit ON OFF RES. No more headaches with the diaphragm OEM unit. I'm an honest person and know what fits.
